In 2021, “Global Views Magazine" publicly solicits and selects "The Second Youth Program for R in the U.S." for "University Social Responsibility" from universities across the country. Analyze the four first prizes of the “2021 Global Views University Social Responsibility Award" this year. USR (the first prize program in the international sharing group is absent), there are four key ideas: make good use of academic expertise to solve problems, cultivate industrial thinking, cultivate independent ability, and create new business models.

Our school's " I SEA You" program won the Model Award of "International Sharing Group" by USR (University Social Responsibility). The SEA here refers to South East Asia. Tsing-hua has established a multilateral academic and cooperation platform to share with them the green technology and sustainable energy experience most needed by ASEAN, South Asia and other developing countries in Asia. Since 2014, 6 international seminars have been held, and more than 1,000 experts and scholars from 22 countries have been invited to study at Tsing-hua University, including many first-level university supervisors, and 8 cooperation agreements have been signed.

The review opinion pointed out that this plan can show that Tsing-hua clearly positions each country's role and strategy, and will have a great influence in the future. Vice President Lin Sheng-fen of our school also attended the award ceremony to receive the award on behalf of Tsing-hua University. He especially praised Dong Rui-an, Dean of Tsing-hua International College, who presided over this project, for his “advanced deployment”. Long before the United Nations officially formulated the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), he took the initiative in 2014. Foresight started the I SEA You project. This also predates the government's new southbound policy.
