Yuyuan Technology and the National Tsing Hua University Badminton Team have collaborated to organize a 4-day charity badminton summer camp, taking place from August 8, 2023, to August 11, 2023, at Dongguang Elementary School in Pingtung County. The camp is open to students from the first to sixth grade and will be coached by former 2012 London Olympics national athlete, Ren-Hao Hsu. The event will see the participation of 80 elementary school students, guided by Coach Ren-Hao Hsu and accompanied by students from the National Tsing Hua University Badminton Team. Chairman Wang Chao-Liang of Yuyuan Technology is an outstanding alumnus of National Tsing Hua University and has long been a supporter of the university's badminton team. This year, the sponsorship has expanded to include a charitable badminton summer camp in collaboration with the university. The aim is to give back to the community and support passionate young badminton enthusiasts who may lack resources, inspiring their curiosity about the world of badminton. Yuyuan Technology hopes that through this event, it can promote sustainable business practices while also nurturing talent in Taiwan's badminton community. Coach Ren-Hao Hsu of the National Tsing Hua University Badminton Team hails from Donggang, Pingtung, and has a deep affection for his hometown. He previously organized charity badminton summer camps with the Land Bank Badminton Team, which greatly inspired him. This time, he chose to give back to his hometown, hoping to encourage more children to love the sport of badminton and instill a sense of social responsibility in the students of the university's badminton team, turning them into forces for social good in the future. The charity event for rural youth badminton camp is sponsored by Yuyuan Technology and also receives support from Taiwan Mizuno Corporation, which provides 15 underprivileged students with Mizuno uniforms, rackets, and lunches, spreading care and warmth. The cooperation of National Tsing Hua University's sports department and the assistance of Dongguang Elementary School in Pingtung made the event successful. The National Tsing Hua University Badminton Team expresses its desire for this event to continue, becoming a tradition for the team and contributing more to society.
