Abstract/Objectives
Purpose: In recent years, there have been few sports scientific researches on boxing events in China. This study explores the jab and straight punches of different levels of players from the point of view of plantar pressure. Method: Recruit 16 boxers, divided into 8 professional groups and 8 general groups, perform two types of punches, straight punches and jabs, and collect the foot pressure distribution of the left and right feet and the movement direction and trajectory of the center of gravity at the time of punching. Through DynaFoot 2, the plantar pressure signals are collected, and the difference in plantar pressure between jabs and straight punches of the two levels of players is compared with an independent sample t test. Results: The professional group's right hand jab forefoot area and left hand jab before and midfoot area were significantly higher than those of the general group. The front and midfoot areas of the right hand straight fist and the front and back foot areas of the left hand straight fist in the professional group were also significantly higher than those in the general group. Conclusion: In general group, the body will lean backward when punching, and the center of gravity of the body will be shifted, which will cause the effect of punching to be greatly reduced.
Results/Contributions

In the two types of jab and straight fist, there is a big difference in the posture and standing position of the two groups during the preparation period. This part may be the biggest factor leading to the different distribution of plantar pressure. The body when the jab is punched Lean forward slightly to keep the body stable and make a punch; when a straight punch is punched, the heel buckle is the key to a straight punch. Failure to grasp this key will make the display of the power chain incomplete, resulting in a straight punch. The efficiency is reduced. However, with regard to the difference in plantar pressure distribution, there is currently no definitive research on punching force, speed, and punching accuracy. The future research direction can also combine the design of plantar pressure instruments with other mechanical instruments to integrate a complete set Empirical research on boxing science provides coaches and players as one of the references for training.
