Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
To establish a Taiwan Waldorf Teachers' Action Research Community, with the hope that through authentic research on their own teaching practices, as well as discussions and exchanges within the teacher community, educators can further enhance professional development and collaboration, ultimately fostering an independent and self-sustaining research culture within Waldorf education in Taiwan.
Results/Contributions
This project brings together Waldorf school teachers from across Taiwan, with a total of 22 action research projects. The research topics cover a diverse range of inquiries, including the implementation and reflection on various teaching approaches, studies on local cultural themes, and teachers' self-exploration.
The project team has been conducting monthly online seminars with the research community since March 2024 to share and discuss the progress of each action research project.
