Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
Leading incoming exchange students from sister schools and Tsinghua exchange students' family counselors went on a tasting tour in the tea-growing region of Kansai, visiting tea gardens, learning about local history, and experiencing the joy of tea tasting and tea making.
Results/Contributions
This journey through the tea-growing region of Kansai serves two purposes: on one hand, it provides exchange students with a deep immersion into Taiwanese tea culture, and on the other hand, it facilitates the establishment of cultural connections between Taiwan and each exchange student. Apart from enjoying the delicious and fragrant local teas of Taiwan, participants also gain a deeper understanding of the significant historical significance behind the lush green tea gardens. In the end, regardless of nationality, all students leave with lasting memories of this journey.
