Entrepreneurship and New Venture introduces the Taiwanese Startup Ecosystem to the students as well as helping them understand the different processes required to start a successful business. Therefore, Prof. Hsu arranged a site visit to the Epoch Foundation to provide the students with first-hand experience on the education resources provided by the private sector in Taiwan. The Epoch Foundation is founded in the early 1990s to facilitate Taiwan's industrial development and to promote regional economic prosperity. Since 1998, the foundation as created several institutions to continue to promotion of knowledged-based economy and the collaboration of global industry and academia, such as: the Epoch School, Epoch Family and Garage+.
