Abstract/Objectives
Through the introduction of Glass Art and Design course, the appreciation and explanation of works, and the introduction of basic processing techniques of glass art, learn about the characteristics of glass materials, understand basic techniques, and cultivate basic design skills, especially through the environmentally friendly recycling and reuse of glass, to experience glass art The fun of design stimulates the desire for active creation.
Results/Contributions
In the glass art and design course I, students learn to design and manufacture waste glass bottles and glass fragments recycled from environmental protection into practical and beautiful utensils, such as tableware, stationery, and decorations. This semester mainly cuts, grinds and polishes recycled glass bottles into glass cups, then sandblasts and glazes them, and makes colored glass fragments into ornaments through rapid fusion technology.
