Abstract/Objectives
This class is specially designed for master students. According to the needs of each student, through interactive discussion and practical experience, understand the different problems encountered in various performance forms and factors, and find effective ways to prepare calmly, easy to get on stage. (1) Explanation part: Discussion of fundamental issues in performance practice. 1. Timbre 2. Skills 3. Song style 4. The importance of warming up 5. Posture and breathing 6. Psychological stress 7. DVD Movie Reference (2) Practical operation part: Group groups in different forms based on the actual number of students and musical instruments to understand the needs of different soundtracks. - Solo requirements and typhoons. - Synergy in chamber music (similar instruments and - various instrumental ensembles). - Conditions for members of the orchestra. - Responsibility for accompaniment. - The size of the concert hall and its acoustics. - The relationship between instrument and performer. - Baroque period musical instruments and playing methods. - Special introduction to French music: French-related musical terms, French style, interpretation by French composers, French art songs, etc. - Attitude of a good player. - Special guests.
Results/Contributions

Some major works (symphony, ballet) will be selected every semester, and the background and practical rehearsal of the story will be introduced through guidance to understand the styles of different composers. By dividing into configurations of strings, winds, piano, and vocals, try to compare the differences between different musical versions.


Allowing each other to appreciate and learn from each other while playing different instruments.


- String Section:

In terms of fragment guidance, discuss issues on many levels in the form of ensembles. Through the consistency of rhythm length and speed changes and the requirements for personal technical maturity, students gradually understand that the interpretation of music and listening to each other are important parts of playing chamber music.


- Vocal group:

Learn how the vocal cords vibrate for the best resonance.

Correct the pronunciation of music from the perspective of phonology.

Regulate breathing, body movements, and awareness of stage effects.


-Piano group:

The touch of the piano and the sound of the pedals for the tone.

Through the understanding of other musical instruments, simulate strings, wind instruments, or human voices to make more sound changes.


-Wind group:

The structure and pronunciation principles of the wooden flute, trombone, euphonium, and other musical instruments are discussed in the parts of orchestral works.
