This project aims to forecast the demand of the raw material and develop an inventory model that providing the information of reorder point and the correspond inventory quantities.
In addition, this project will develop a supplier selection model to provide timely support for decision-making suggestions, and the most targeted measures for enterprise operations. In terms of demand forecasting, the proposed model can help the company to reduce the demand forecast error caused by uncertain factors, and enable the effective management of reorder points and inventory. With the evaluation of the production load, capacity scheduling strategies can be formulated in advance to support subsequent production conditions, enabling effective operational behavior during market fluctuations. In addition, this research developed an inventory strategy to manage the raw materials and the inventory effectively. The smart supplier selection decision-making framework proposed by this project enables decision makers to have specific and clear practices to follow.
