Abstract/Objectives
The Nanda Branch of the National Tsing Hua University Library has deaccessioned a batch of duplicate picture books. After sorting and selection, a total of 640 books have been donated to the Tsing Hua Internet Education Foundation. The foundation will facilitate the redistribution of these books to Indigenous communities, rural schools, and underprivileged groups.
Results/Contributions
The Tsing Hua Internet Education Foundation assisted in arranging the donation of picture books to Indigenous communities, rural schools, and underprivileged groups. In appreciation of the library’s support in facilitating the foundation's educational initiatives, benefiting students in Hsinchu City, the foundation has presented a Certificate of Appreciation.
