Abstract/Objectives
Professor Tea-Yuan Hwang hold a position in Tsing Hua university in 1972 to thank for the education offered by alma mater. To promoting statistics education in Taiwan, he established “Professor Tea-Yuan Hwang scholarship”. It provides financial aid to the disadvantaged students in the department of mathematics so that they can dedicate to learning and finish the program.
Results/Contributions
We provide 50k NT dollars to two students each year since the establishment of the scholarship. There are several students finish the undergraduate program since then.
