Abstract/Objectives
This study explores how people perceive products and develop preferences in the "experiential economy" and human-centered design perspective. The aim of the research is to propose a semantic scale for sensory expression in product experience, establish evaluative dimensions for product aesthetics in sensory literacy, and create a model for applying sensory design in product planning. The expected results will address future sensory needs and provide important references for design education and industry practices in creating better products for users.
Results/Contributions

In the era of the "experiential economy" and the human-centered design perspective, how people perceive products in their lives and develop preferences or dislikes is the core concern and starting point of this study. The expected results of this research are

(1) to propose a semantic scale for product experience in "sensory expression,"

(2) to construct evaluative dimensions for product aesthetics in "sensory literacy," and

(3) to establish a model for applying "sensory design" in product planning. These results aim to address the sensory needs of future life and provide important references for design education and industry practices.
