Abstract/Objectives
This course first introduces the historical position of Chinese herbology in the treatment of Chinese medicine, the traditional theoretical basis and its modern expression. In order to test the correctness of the theory, the course also emphasizes the study of how to design experiments and examine the experimental results in the scientific literature to determine which scientific models can be used.
Results/Contributions
Under the guidance of the theoretical foundations of modern Chinese medicine, the course will systematically introduce Chinese medicine drugs, Chinese medicine pharmacology, Chinese medicine preparation, and prescriptions, and explore their relationship with modern science and biotechnology. It involves theoretical analysis and specific practice. After completing this general studies course, based on the scientific implications of systems and complexity, students will be trained to build their independent thinking skills in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Biotechnology from experiment to theory.
