Abstract/Objectives
This course is for advanced oil painting creation. Course content includes:
1. The history of oil painting material knowledge and technique.
2. The Inheritance of Classical Aesthetic Conception: The Idealized World.
3. Judgment of Form and Atmosphere: Exploration of Linear and Painterly Painting Methods
4. The Double Judgment of Subject Schema and Structural Schema.
5. Adjustment of the relationship between image, brushwork and color
Results/Contributions
Students can deepen their understanding and practical judgment of oil painting techniques, learn the aesthetic differences between traditional and modern and contemporary oil painting, and develop their creative potential. The end-of-term results are the completion of five works.
