Abstract/Objectives
This research aims to study the relationship between feedback mechanisms and learning effectiveness in digital game-based learning. The researchers make use of the characteristic of the word adventure role-playing digital game, also combine the game with myths and feedback mechanisms. Through the production of story-based role-playing digital games, pre-test, and post-test, try to understand the differences in learning effectiveness affected by the different feedback mechanisms students experience.
Results/Contributions

In this study, a game was created by designing a game plot and a feedback mechanism, and then invited senior elementary school students to participate in the actual test. To perform statistical analysis, the pre-test and post-test are also performed respectively before and after the test, to collect relevant data.

Through this research, we found that in the effectiveness of the feedback mechanism in game-based learning, in the shorter feedback, students have better learning achievement after experiencing the feedback of the " Try again " mechanism; In elaborated feedback, the research compares students' learning achievement after they experience feedback under the " Response contingent " mechanism and feedback under the " Topic contingent " mechanism. Research indicates that students have better learning achievement under “Response contingent” mechanism than “Topic contingent” mechanism.
