Results/Contributions

Under the arrangement of the Huayu BEST Program and the HLH Education Foundation, foreign students had the opportunity to visit rural elementary schools in Taiwan, where they participated in and assisted with bilingual teaching activities. These foreign students, coming from different countries, brought diverse language and cultural experiences to the local students. Through this activity, they assisted teachers with English and other language lessons, allowing the students to be exposed to different languages.

The activities included helping students with English learning, improving their language skills, and designing interactive games and activities to make the classroom environment more lively and engaging. The foreign students also shared their hometown cultures and introduced the unique features of their countries, helping the students expand their horizons and understand the differences and similarities between cultures.

Such bilingual teaching activities not only provided local students with the opportunity to learn languages but also offered valuable experiences to broaden their international perspectives and enhance cross-cultural understanding. At the same time, the foreign students also had the chance to interact with local Taiwanese students, deepening their understanding of Taiwan's culture and society.
