Results/Contributions

This trip to the Emei Fuxing Old Tea Factory, where we led sister schools’ exchange students and Tsinghua Exchange Family Counselors, not only introduced Taiwan’s tea culture but also deeply contributed to cultural sustainability. Through visiting tea gardens and experiencing tea tasting and production, the students gained an in-depth understanding of Taiwan's tea history and craftsmanship, further learning about the historical significance behind Fengfeng tea (Oriental Beauty Tea) and experiencing the wisdom of harmony between Taiwan’s people and nature.

Such activities not only helped students deepen their knowledge of Taiwanese tea culture but also allowed them to feel the continuity and preservation of culture. Through hands-on experience, students could better appreciate the history and stories carried by each tea leaf, which plays a significant role in the transmission and sustainable development of culture. This is not just the transfer of knowledge but also a demonstration of global cultural diversity and respect.
