Abstract/Objectives

The “12/6 Foreign Student Association Christmas Party” aims to provide a joyful and relaxed platform for international students at NTHU to interact and get to know one another during the Christmas season. Through festive-themed activities and performances, the event promotes cultural exchange and multicultural understanding, allowing international students to experience the holiday spirit even while abroad. It also helps foster a sense of belonging and community connection, while creating a friendly, inclusive, and diverse international campus environment.

Results/Contributions (500 words)

The "International Student Association Christmas Party" saw participation from 140 students representing 23 countries. The event included interactive games, performances, and a gift exchange, successfully creating a vibrant, warm, and participatory festive atmosphere. Through carefully designed interactive games, students were encouraged to communicate and collaborate, enhancing their understanding of one another. Various performances showcased multicultural characteristics, increasing students' understanding and appreciation of different cultures. The gift exchange activity added fun and emotional connection to the interactions. Overall, the event not only strengthened the community cohesion among international students but also promoted cross-cultural communication, fostering a friendly, inclusive, and international campus atmosphere, achieving the intended outcomes of enhancing a sense of belonging and international exchange.
