As a part of this course, we invited to cooperation Pinglin District Hall of New Taipei City, Taiwan Sustainable Travel Association, Taiwan Public Television, Pinglin District Tea Sustainable Production Cooperative, Pinglin Story Collection Studio, etc. Thanks to the promotion campaigns of the New Taipei City Tourism and Tourism Bureau and the Pinglin District Hall, Pinglin Township has been known as a tea village and a water resources protection site of the Greater Taipei Area. It was also selected one of the "2018 Global Top 100 Green Tourism Destinations" due to its natural and cultural beauty. However, despite those facts, it is still affected by the urban and rural environment development and the decline of traditional industries. This course was based on green tourism sustainability guidelines, including topics such as: destination management, nature and scenery, environment and climate, culture and tradition, social well-being and business hospitality. The program offered two lectures delivered by the guest speakers, one workshop and a field study opportunity. At the same time, Pinglin District Office was requested to hold a local symposium on Pinglin's green tourism and sustainable development education. Moreover, local tea farmers, local industry development association, cultural and historical workers along with surrounding communities were invited to participate in the discussions. At the end of the course, its results were assembled in cooperation with PTV. At the time, students jointly created six publications of Citizen News as a community feedback, as well as assisted in the promotion of local sustainable development goals.

Abstract/Objectives
In line with the global trends, we would like to promote SDGs-related initiatives. This course responds to the goal 12.B which is to develop and implement tools to monitor impact of sustainable development for sustainable tourism which in conseqence creates job opportunities, popularizes local cultures and products. The sustainable tourism is promoted by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). It focuses on the balance between environment, economy and social culture which are involved in the tourism development. Apart from theoretical aspects of education, this concept also concerns its practical side. Therefore, student were to explore the educational paths designed in Pinglin District, which was among top 100 green tourism sites of the world in 2018. According to the concept of green tourism development, they also responded to the needs of the communities by carrying out multifaceted community development activities, at the same time attaining the core goals of the course.
