Abstract/Objectives
The school features six free art and cultural venues open to the public. 1. **Hongliang Art Museum**: Offers exhibitions and art workshops to engage the community and enhance aesthetic appreciation. 2. **Junshan Music Hall**: Hosts performances by esteemed artists and will feature a series of six free concerts for the 2024 Tsinghua Mid-Autumn Festival. 3. **Jie English Museum**: Established in 2015, it features annual exhibitions focused on historical themes including Ming and Qing Confucianism and Japanese colonialism. 4. **Zhushi Art Space**: Hosts over ten exhibitions annually and facilitates art awards and exchanges with international sister schools. 5. **Zhushi Art Space II**: Provides practice venues for students' exhibitions, showcasing innovative curatorial proposals from emerging artists nationally. 6. **Ze Art Space**: A flexible, student-run space for diverse small exhibitions emphasizing experimentation and creativity.
Results/Contributions

Our school has a total of six art and cultural venues, open to the public for free.

 

1. Hongliang Art Museum

1. Regularly holds exhibitions and lectures to enhance the interactive connection between the museum and the community.

2. Organizes art workshops to enhance the public's aesthetic knowledge in an enjoyable manner.

 

2. Junshan Music Hall

1. Invites renowned artists from both domestic and international backgrounds to perform and teach at National Tsing Hua University, hosting a series of concert events.

2. The 2024 Tsinghua Mid-Autumn Festival Moon Chanting Concert series will feature six free performances.

 

3. Jie English Museum

National Tsing Hua University established the Cultural Relics Museum Preparatory Office in 2015, which officially became the Cultural Relics Museum in 2022. Since the establishment of the Preparatory Office, the museum has held one to two major themed exhibitions each year related to Ming and Qing Confucianism, Edo Sinology, the Japanese colonial period, and the National Government's relocation to Taiwan in 1949, as well as multiple small exhibitions, all on the first floor of the Wang Hong Hall, open for public viewing free of charge.

 

4. Zhushi Art Space

Located on the first floor of the Department of Art and Design in the southern campus of Tsinghua University, this space invites both domestic and international artists to hold over ten solo or group exhibitions each year, along with occasional A3 project exchange exhibitions with sister schools abroad and invitation exhibitions of cross-strait craft creations. It also serves as a platform for important internal art awards such as the Master’s students' evaluation, undergraduate graduation exhibitions, and the Spring Tsinghua Art Excellence Award.

 

5. Zhushi Art Space II

Located on the first floor of the Western Painting Building of the Department of Art and Design in the southern campus of Tsinghua University, this space primarily serves as a venue for students to practice exhibition planning for solo and group exhibitions, including providing space for the Bachelor’s program of the College of Arts and the Institute of Technology and Arts to showcase campus exhibitions. Each year, it also invites submissions from across the nation to present innovative curatorial proposals by emerging artists.

 

6. Ze Art Space

Located on the first floor of the Department of Art and Design in the southern campus of Tsinghua University, Ze Art Space is an open and experimental art space that focuses on small exhibitions planned and exhibited by students of the Department of Art and Design, characterized by diversity and flexibility.
