This event is a one-day camp organized by the Happy Children’s Club of National Tsing Hua University at Dong'an Elementary School in Guanxi Township, Hsinchu County, targeting elementary school students from grades one to six. The activities include morning exercises, large group games, outdoor games, hands-on activities, a carnival, and character education dramas. Through diverse and enjoyable activity designs, the camp guides children to engage in physical activities and group interactions in a safe and supportive environment.
The camp features various physical activities and team cooperation games, encouraging students to develop good exercise habits and enhance their physical health and activity levels. At the same time, through a team system and group tasks, it helps students learn emotional expression, interpersonal communication, and the spirit of cooperation, promoting mental health and positive self-identity. The drama and group activities incorporate elements of moral education, allowing students to understand the importance of respecting others, caring for peers, and self-regulation in a joyful atmosphere.
The overall activities not only improve the physical and mental health of the students but also create a safe, positive, and supportive growth experience for them, aligning with the core spirit of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals’ focus on “good health and well-being.”
