Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
In the era of Taiwan's transition from agriculture to industry and commerce, this region provided labor for economic transformation through popular education. Driven by the development of the government's high-tech industry, the establishment of the bamboo branch has created surrounding towns and towns such as Zhudong, Xionglin, and Hengyuan. Mountains and other employment opportunities, but also changed the rural structure and the use of agricultural land. This project attempts to establish a new type of urban development in the Hsinchu area, planning a large metropolis with a target population of 1.2 million. Although this plan has not been fully realized over the years, it has greatly affected the construction and development of Hsinchu Metropolis. According to the "Hsinchu Science City Development Plan" and the "Puruyu Special Area Plan of Hsinchu County" proposed later in 2000, the north bank of Touqian River runs from the eastern boundary of the original urban planning area in Zhubei to the Xionglin urban planning area. The agricultural area between the western borders will be fully developed into the land of Chengdu. Up to now, through the expansion and change of the Zhubei and Xionglin urban plans and the implementation of the "High Speed Rail Hsinchu Station Designated Area" plan, this vast agricultural area originally known as Hsinchu Rice Warehouse has been developed into a large area of land in Chengdu. Municipal planning areas, and other areas that still maintain their original agricultural landscape, are also under pressure for further land acquisition or rezoning, including attempts by local governments, builders, and even farmland owners to change the status quo. Although the farmland and agriculture here have survived the crisis of the establishment of Jiaotong University, the pressure of being expropriated as an urban rezoning has not been lifted. The plan will develop local elements into activities or fields that contribute to the interaction and connection between urban and rural areas, such as the Zhubei Youtian activity, so that the value of the place can be seen and valued. The basic relationship network, and the development of generative urban-rural relationship. Development themes include farming, production and marketing, culture, education, urban-rural connection, landscape.
