1. In terms of campus tree conservation, the budget for tree pruning and maintenance was 2.4 million NT dollars per year from 2018 to 2022, and increased to 4.35 million NT dollars from 2023 onwards, mainly to expand the maintenance scope to include both the Southern campus and the East-West dormitory area. 2. The Plum Garden, which holds significant importance for the university, also regularly prunes and maintains the plum and dragon cypress trees in the garden, fertilizes them, and carries out pest control measures to maintain the health of the campus trees and promote ecological sustainability. 3. In order to balance the execution of construction projects with the protection of the campus landscape, the university has established a Campus Landscape Environment Review Committee to review various cases related to the campus terrain, topography, vegetation, building appearance, and ecological environment.
