Prof. Po-Yu Chen, the Co-Principal Investigator is the chairman of Biomimicry Taiwan Association.

The association promote biomimicry affairs in Taiwan and developing interdisciplinary cooperation and communication through the promotion of biomimicry design challenge and related workshops: Through the annual biomimicry design challenge, the association collaborates with the New Taipei City Government to address the needs of the local community by biomimicry thinking and biomimicry design.

In 2021, Biotechnology Industry Study Centre of Taiwan Institute of Economic Research, Sustainable Material Library of Plastics Industry Development Center, and Biomimicry Taiwan Association signed MOU to Strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation and exchange based on sustainable environmental thought.
