Abstract/Objectives
Ecotourism often applies the implementation of non-expendable tourism policies to the extinct wildlife and is competing as a win-win strategy for species conservation and market economy access. However, there are two-way contradictions in the application of such sightseeing resources. One of them is a very attractive sightseeing attraction on the market due to the involvement of rare or endangered species. The second is that such sensitive species often have the irreversible risk of existence. Therefore, how to preserve the true nature of consumption without diminishing the conditions for its survival and development should be urgently explored. Focusing on this, this study applies the concept of authenticity of tourism anthropology to the promotion of the sensitive resources of ecotourism. In this study, A total of 277 valid samples were obtained from June to August, 2018. The endangered species, famous as the name of bird of myth, black mouth Crested Tern gull tours in Matsu gull protected area, has been surveyed from the perspectives of tourists to collect the information of its ecotourism tours gull trip implementation.
Results/Contributions

The research results show that the tourists who come to Mazu tourism are roughly divided into three types: shallow ecological gull tourists, intermediate ecological gull tourists, and deep ecological gull tourists. There are significant differences between them upon tourism motivation, environmental attribute preference and authenticity perceptions. The environmental sensitivity of the deep ecological gull passengers to the three factors is significantly higher than that of the intermediate type and shallow ecological gull visitors. Moreover, in line with the relevant policy of the Year of the Gulf Ecotourism introduced by Taiwan Tourism Bureau in 2018, the results will reflect on the application of sensitive resources in tourism activities and the operation and management of protected areas.
