Abstract/Objectives
Social innovation guides the goal of serving the society through the core concept of innovation. If this is the basis, and an appropriate business operation model is incorporated, it is possible to create a social enterprise that operates independently and is beneficial to many parties. This course has four main objectives: (1) To understand the core concepts and values ​​of social innovation; (2) To understand the trend development and practical operation of society and social enterprises; (3) To let students master social innovation through case sharing and analysis (4) Cultivate and accumulate practical experience in social innovation through project planning. This course expects that the competencies acquired by students in the course can be applied to the future careers of entrepreneurship or employment, and one day can also contribute to the society. This course aims to be in line with Tsinghua University's teaching concepts of "urban and rural creation", "industry innovation" and "social innovation" in recent years. The ideas generated by the household activities between teachers and students are pushed to practice outside the school to verify and calibrate the learning results in the school, support students to form a practical team, incubate and accelerate in the course, and through the implementation of the project, let Tsinghua University in the society. To exert influence and realize the social responsibility of the university.
Results/Contributions

Through different themes, we lead the students to conduct group discussions and practice activities for the first time, and inspire students to continue their interested groups or create their own new project development after leaving the classroom in the future. Through the continuation of the workshop in the next semester, Focus on more profound ability training of students.


Expressive Art Therapy and Health Promotion Lectures: The connotations of perception, creation and expression contained in art can be applied to education, aging, therapy and other fields. The cross-domain approach of "psychology" invites three lecturers with rich practical experience, including occupational therapists or art therapists, to give joint lectures, sharing their service design, individual and community intervention from different artistic techniques such as hand-made, drama, and music. We hope that students who are interested in the application of expressive arts in social services, such as the School of Education, the School of Art, and the School of Human and Social Affairs, can participate together.


Video Workshop: Now is a new era of visual marketing. This full-day workshop allows students to learn: A. Documentary material collection and techniques; B. The focus of video stories; C. Elements of advertising short films, through Learn to use images as a medium to convey meaningful images.


Urban Exploration Series: Packaging or translating awareness of cities with stories. This series is divided into two parts: "A Bite of Hsinchu" and "Blind City Exploration". "Blind City Exploration" leads students to use the technology of LINE@App to understand new types of urban exploration methods, combining classic legends with LINE @App re-understands the Three Gorges and Dadaocheng.
