Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
The Science Service Club has been cooperating with enterprises for a long time, and has implemented class supplements in Hengshan Junior High School in Hengshan Township for many years, in response to the SDGs Goal 4: Quality education (Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all).
In recent years, due to the serious declining birthrate, the number of students in Hengshan Junior High School has gradually decreased. In addition to its remoteness, many students have migrated to schools in resource-rich areas such as Kansai. The school hopes to use the power of science to first create the advantage of attracting students to return, and secondly, to allow all students to have free and fair education opportunities, and not to lose at the starting point due to lack of resources in the rural areas.
The agency formed the Hengshan class auxiliary service team, and was supported by Qiqi Technology Co., Ltd., and combined corporate CSR and university USR to drive social responsibility. Different from the general tutoring, which focuses on the reading-accompaniment function, the members of the Science Service Club include college students from different departments, providing manpower from multiple fields and various expertise, planning science-oriented class supplementary activities, and creating homework with children A completely different atmosphere effectively promotes learning outcomes.
