Abstract/Objectives
The objectives of this course is to help students understand the significance of the literacy of the 12-year national curriculum in mathematics through the case analysis of task designing and practicing, watching and appreciating videos and personal experiencing. The connotation of mathematical literacy and understanding of literacy-oriented mathematics teaching mode.The content of the course includes the meaning of mathematics speculation and argumentation, the meaning of literacyoriented mathematics teaching mode, and the 4C abilities required by talents in the 21st century, including creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical operative definitions and implementation methods in mathematics classrooms.
Results/Contributions

The outcomes to be achieved include:

1. Understanding of the contents and meaning of 4C for the competencies of 21st century .

2. Acquired the skills of appreciating and designing and practicing tasks.

3. Acquired the norms of mathematics teaching for conjecturing.

4. Acquired the ability to identify the quality of the arguments displayed in mathematics lessons.
