Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
Compared with science and engineering, knowledge in the humanities and social sciences often cannot be used to find directly corresponding jobs after leaving campus. The theory that human resources and social security are useless has always troubled our students. This course aims to prove that this argument is wrong. In fact, many students who graduate from humanities and social sciences play important roles in society. No matter where they work, they use the knowledge and values they learned in school to work with others, communicate with society, and realize their own ideals. I have always believed that instead of complaining that the Academic Press has no future, it is better to have the courage to accept the scrutiny of the outside world. Before we expect others to value us, we must learn to value ourselves. This course attempts to lead students to step out of the comfort zone of knowledge, understand the future workplace, and then test whether what they have learned can meet the needs of society.
