Abstract/Objectives
There are four purposes in the present study as follows: The first is to explore the biological index related to craving. The second is to use a Virtual Reality device to assess the severity of the craving. The third is to improve the reliability of the self-report instrument for assessing the severity of the craving. The fourth is understanding the relationship between mental status and the biological index of craving.
Results/Contributions

This study keeps collecting data, and thirteen male participants were recruited in this study. Our preliminary findings show that self-reporting craving scores are significantly related to LF/HF (craving induction) and LF/HF (resting period) (r=0.761, p<.001; r=0.633, p<0.001). Then, we also found the self-report anxiety scores are positively related to Beta wave(baseline)、Beta wave(baseline) (craving induction)和Beta wave (resting period) (r=0.728, p<.001; r=0.711, p<0.001; r=0.741, p<0.001). In sum, our results preliminarily supported that VR device could induce the syndromes of craving.
