Abstract/Objectives

This course adopts the case-based teaching method, the lecturer has more than 20 years of legal practice experience, and will help students understand the legal system of country responsibility and compensation through vivid case explanations, and teach the know-how of negotiating with the government. Cultivate students' thinking ability to understand their own rights and interests, as well as legal remedies when they are infringed by the state.

Results/Contributions

Students will learn about the types of country responsibility: mainly moral responsibility, political responsibility and legal responsibility; In addition, in the legal liability, the difference between the compensation for damages and losses are beneficial. In addition, to further understand the country compensation system of our country, it is mainly divided into three types: active action of civil servants, passive inaction and lack of management of public facilities, etc., it can be preliminarily identified whether the relevant cases have established country compensation liability, and there are two types of country compensation cases such as traffic safety and natural disasters. Finally, there are the specific items and amounts of compensation that can be claimed in law.
