Abstract/Objectives

Course Description This course places equal emphasis on creative practice and theory, fostering a synergy where the two domains mutually validate and inform each other. I. Creative Practice Students will gradually construct the prototype of "Virtual Perception" and the "Virtual Body" through the following six evolutionary steps: 1.Sensors: Representing the primordial forms of life—genes and cells. 2.Internet of Things (IoT): Serving as the biological skeleton, defining the human silhouette. 3.Big Data: Acting as the lifeblood and neural impulses within a vast sea of information. 4.Virtual Reality (VR): The manifestation of flesh and skin upon the framework, evolving into a holistic living entity. 5.Digital Consciousness: Powered by AI to form a "Super Brain." 6.Digital Twin: The final realization of the "Virtual Body." II. Theoretical Component Students will be guided to explore how virtual technologies reconfigure bodily perception, giving rise to new philosophical perspectives on "existence," consciousness, and post-human identity.
