To minimize water consumption, water from swimming pools is recycled after use to provide seasonal maintenance for watering, such as the lawns of the athletic complex. On campus, buildings constructed after 2000 are certified green buildings that meet standards for using roof rainwater for watering plants and restrooms. As of 2021, the campus has nine certified green buildings and six more are under construction.
