Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
This seminar will explore comparative corporate governance and contemporary issues pertinent to corporate law. While introducing Taiwan’s legal rules and first principles governing corporations’ operation, finance, and relations between shareholders and the management in a corporation, this seminar will in the beginning discuss economic fundamentals and essential concepts of U.S. corporate law, as well as from time to time make comparison between the U.S. and Taiwanese models. We'll shed light on recent trends in sustainability, ESG (environmental, social & corporate governance) issues and corporate social responsibility as well.
