Abstract/Objectives
This project aims to promote collaboration and development in medical research through academic exchanges between National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) and Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TVGH). The event features a half-day visit and academic symposium, including presentations on the College of Life Science and Medicine, panel discussions, and in-depth exchanges, with the goal of further strengthening research collaboration.
Results/Contributions
1.Academic Presentations and Professional Sharing
National Tsing Hua University introduced its College, courses on precision medicine and medical informatics, and its advancements in biotechnology and medical research.
Taichung Veterans General Hospital elaborated on its current medical research projects and future plans, sharing examples from a clinical application perspective.
2.Group Discussions and In-depth Interactions
A group-based model was employed, allowing professors to engage on specific topics. Discussions led to identifying potential future collaboration opportunities.
Both sides agreed that joint interdisciplinary projects could more effectively integrate resources and expertise to address critical health issues.
