New projects need to obtain green building marks. The design concept not only considers the safety, diversity, and integrity of teachers, students, and the community, but also integrates the viewpoints of sustainable development, environmental maintenance, and community service to guide the faculty, students, and community with the awareness of environmental protection so that the school environment is user-friendly, and become a sustainable, prospective and environmentally friendly education field.

1. Green buildings completed in the past ten years:

• TSMC Building: 2001 version, opened in April 2008.
• Delta Hall: Bronze, opened in October 2011.
• Dormitory Tsing: Silver, opened in February 2012.
• Multifunctional Alumni Gymnasium: Silver, opened in December 2012.
• Macronix Building of the Learning Resource Center: Qualified, opened in April 2013.
• Center of Innovation Incubator: Diamond, opened in April 2016.
• Green Energy Research and Education Building- Kee Tsen min Building: Gold, opened in April 2016.
• Guest House lll: qualified, opened in August 2016.
• Tsing Hua Laboratory: Bronze, opened in May 2018.

2. Green buildings under construction:

• Education building: planning for silver level, in the process of project bidding.
• Art Academy Building: planning for silver level, in process of project bidding.
• South Campus Student Dormitory: planning for silver level, in the process of project bidding.
• Xie Hong Liang Modern Art Museum: planning for qualified level, in the process of planning and design work.
• Cultural Relics Museum: planning for qualified level, planning and design work in progress.
• Zhou An Yi and Wang Mo Museum of Humanities: planning for qualified level, in the process of planning and design work.

3. Green buildings planned for construction in the future:

• North Campus Student Dormitory: planning for Bronze level, in the progress of project concept.

Note: The "Green Building Grading and Evaluation System" was updated in 2007 by Architecture and Building Research Institute. There are five grades from qualified to the best grade, including qualified, bronze, silver, gold and diamond.
