Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
The Book Exchange event is hosted by the Library every December, as part of the Library Month. In November, book donations are collected in advance, and participants are given exchange points. These points can be used during the Book Exchange event. Before the event, passionate participants often line up eagerly at the entrance, hoping to get their hands on their favorite books as soon as possible. The Book Exchange event is always a fulfilling and enjoyable experience, leaving participants with a sense of satisfaction and excitement as they return home with their new reads.
Results/Contributions
This event gathered over 4,000 books for exchange, attracting not only faculty and students but also enthusiastic members of neighboring communities. The book exchange encompassed various genres, including literature, foreign language books, novels, textbooks, leisure magazines, and children's books. Participants could also acquire expired periodicals. Many were seen carrying stacks of books or leaving with suitcases full. In addition to promoting resource reuse and knowledge sharing, the book exchange process also contributes to the sustainable development of the earth.
