Abstract/Objectives
This life education program is structured from the four perspectives of whole-person education: human being and self, human being and others, human being and environment, and human being and the universe.
It is expected to achieve the following
1. increase their appreciation for the exploration, understanding, and value of personal life
2. aspire to follow the example and set the direction of life
3. enhance the attitude of actively caring for the lives around them and responding positively to future life challenges.
4. to create value in life through the practice of altruistic service and to be full of hope and enthusiasm for life.
Results/Contributions
- By practicing positive breathing awareness at the beginning of each class, the instructor allows students to keep their minds in the classroom and actively cares for them to establish a good teacher-student trust and learning relationship.
- Through the design of midterm and final reports and assignments, students find their eyes to discover beauty, re-examine the people and things around them, and take the initiative to build relationships with others.
- Through the influence of Internet technology, we understand that water can carry a boat as well as overturn it, and that we should take control of technology instead of becoming addicted to the Internet〪
- Students will learn how to live the life they want and understand end-of-life care to accompany them through loss and grief.
- Food Safety- Starting with food additives, students will be able to identify the difference between food and food products and understand the health hazards of too many harmful additives.
- Encounter with the real self - empathy and non-violent communication learning, through which students can truly understand their own observations, feelings, needs and requests, and make clear, concrete and empathetic communication with the self and others〪
