Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
Founded in the early 2000s, the International MBA program (IMBA) has consistently drawn a varied mix of international students. Yet, navigating the job market in Taiwan after graduation can be a complex endeavor due to the distinct array of opportunities and regulatory conditions. To address these challenges, the IMBA Student Government organized a workshop that spotlighted four IMBA alumni now working in Taiwan. This provided current students with invaluable perspectives on the post-graduate professional landscape.

The event highlighted four distinguished alumni: Red from France, Mariel from Honduras, Lisa from Thailand, and Vincent from Vietnam. Each began with a concise overview of their current professional roles, followed by insights from their post-graduation job-seeking journeys.

After a structured Q&A session, the gathering shifted to focused discussion groups, allowing students to engage in more intimate conversations with the alumni. With the alumni representing a variety of professional sectors, students received nuanced insights into potential challenges within their desired fields, drawing from experiences like those in the International Marketing Department at ASUS and at Citibank.

Feedback from participating students was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing appreciation for the insights shared by alumni who have navigated similar paths. This workshop underscored the strength and diversity of the IMBA program's alumni network, built over two decades. Tapping into this vast community offers students a rich tapestry of perspectives on post-graduation career prospects.
