The school history oral history project restarted in March 2021. By December 2023, a total of 34 people have been interviewed, including former presidents, professors, alumni, staff, Tsing Hua store owners, local neighbors, etc. The content of the interviews is mainly about memories of school life, the process of policy implementation, experiences of interpersonal interactions, and personal observations and thoughts on Tsing Hua affairs, etc. The interviews are intended to complement the lesser aspects and details of the official school history, and to create more exciting and promising stories that will resonate with the public.
In addition to obtaining oral history information, interviewees are also invited to provide old photos (early school scenes, group photos of teachers and students, campus activities, etc.) or artifacts related to school history (souvenirs, documents, manuscripts, etc.) for the university archive.
By continuously and systematically collecting various resources and documents of the university, the university history collection can be sounder and richer. The process of the flourishing development of the university and its contribution to Taiwan society can be presented in a realistic manner, while the profound cultural heritage and humanistic spirit of Tsing Hua can be demonstrated.
