"Tsing Hua Effect 2020 - STEM with A Popular Science Art Festival " includes three exhibition areas: (1) 4 artworks in Kinectic Art zone in ​​Pigeon Square; (2) 10 artworks in Interactive Science Art zone in ​​Library (Macronix Building); (3) STEAM Interactive Exploration Exhibition in Education Building where exhibits 23 interactive artworks of popular science art. At the same time, in order to promote popular science art, our school and the Artistic Excellence in Education program of Taipei City Education Bureau jointly organized the first " STEM with A Popular Science Art Award". More than 30 groups of elementary school teachers signed up, and we finally selected 10 shortlisted artworks were exhibited in the Exploration Exhibition. At the opening ceremony, gold, silver and bronze awards were awarded.

During the event, nearly 40 students from the National Tsing Hua University Science Service Club were specially recruited to implement the students' participation in giving back to the society, guide the visiting children and public to interact and explore with the artworks, and carry out the corresponding scientific theory. During the 20-day exhibition period, there were teachers, guests and 20 elementary school classes, about 800 people participated in the interaction and experience of the "STEAM Interactive Exploration Museum". In addition to the exhibition activities, two workshops were also held: "Ellipse Foci Must Be Crazy" and "Magnet Gyro dances Tango". We practice our STEAM123 learning methodology and guide children to do it by themselves (Tinker), and then explore knowledge (Explorer), and finally Transform creative creation (Maker).

We have received good feedback from students in the exhibitions and workshops in the event. Teachers and parents expressed their hope that there will be regular and similar exhibitions and activities in the future. At the opening, President Hong Hocheng, affirmed that " Tsing Hua Effect" uses the principles of science and technology to combine art to create a diverse and interactive learning environment on campus. Lee, Yu-Jiuan, Deputy Director, Department of Teachers and Arts Education, Ministry of Education, is also pleased to see that National Tsing Hua University extends its influence to elementary and secondary schools through teacher training, cultivates cross-field π-type talents for the country.
