Abstract/Objectives
Cancer is one of the most fatal diseases in modern society. Most people fear it and consider it a terminal illness when they encounter it. However, not all types of cancer are so terrifying, and there are many diagnostic and treatment methods available.
This course aims to equip students with accurate knowledge about cancer while also fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, encouraging students from various fields to contribute to the research and development of new cancer drugs, diagnostic technologies, and medical devices.
Results/Contributions
Through this course, students will learn fundamental knowledge about cancer and gain an understanding of common misconceptions about it, such as what is cancer metastasis, how health checkups can help detect it, and the various treatment options available.
Additionally, group presentations will help students clarify their questions about cancer and develop a basic understanding of cancer biology.
