Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
Relying on the natural environment and resources provided by the earth, human beings can survive, multiply, and build civilization. The nature provides humans with endless “ecosystem service functions.” However, with the rapid urbanization of human society, people have often forgotten the connection between itself and nature. This course will explore the close, complex, and diverse relationship between humans and natural ecology. Recover the bonds that were lost during the period, and further explore the excessive use of natural resources by humans and the development and destruction of the environment, resulting in biodiversity facing serious crises, followed by serious threats to the well-being of modern mankind and the sustainability of the future. Finally, reflect on how to apply modern science and technology to solve such problems.
