Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
This musical originated from the Salem witch trials, which happened in the Massachusetts Bay Colony from 1692 to 1693. A famous playwright, Arthur Miller, adapted the cruel story into the play, whose name is the Crucible. Through the play, Miller hopes to counter the evil of unjustified persecution and the terrible power of false accusations, and so do us. We use high-tech elements in our musical, setting a camera on the stage to present the evil of video news which often twists the truth and disseminates fake. And such a situation highly resembles the story in the past.
