Results/Contributions
This activity led dormitory leaders to visit the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology. Through the museum’s diverse exhibitions and interactive displays, students were able to gain a practical understanding of marine science, marine ecosystems, and the development of marine technology, as well as the close relationship between human activities and the marine environment.
With guided explanations from professional docents, participants not only learned in greater depth about marine biodiversity, the utilization of marine resources, and the importance of marine environmental protection, but also explored the applications and development of marine technology in areas such as ocean observation, resource management, and environmental monitoring. During the visit, participants also exchanged ideas and discussed topics including marine conservation, environmental sustainability, and marine education, reflecting on how environmental protection and sustainability concepts can be incorporated into daily life and the campus environment.
Through this visit, dormitory leaders were able to enhance their understanding of marine science and marine conservation issues, while also cultivating greater awareness of ocean protection and sustainable development, thereby laying a solid foundation for promoting environmental education and sustainability awareness on campus.
