Abstract/Objectives
"Social and Cultural Analysis" is a core course in Category Four of the general education curriculum, focusing on education topics from preschool to higher education and contemporary issues. The course aims to provide a cross-cultural perspective, enhance understanding of educational issues in social and cultural contexts, and promote self-reflection on personal experiences and values.
Results/Contributions
“Social and Cultural Analysis” is one of the core courses within Category Four-- “Citizen, Society and the World” of the general education curriculum. Adopting a cross-cultural and comparative perspective, this course covers selected educational topics from preschool to higher education and certain specific contemporary educational issues. This course is intended to enhance an understanding educational issues in cultural and social contexts and to cultivate capabilities of self-reflection on one’s own experiences and values.
