Abstract/Objectives
The course focuses on landscape and portrait painting, and plans the creative progress of related themes. The teaching of landscape sketching focuses on the mastery of open-air light and aerial perspective; the focus of portrait study is the correctness of shape, the operation of related brushwork and the regulation of skin tone.
Results/Contributions
Students learn to master the tones of open-air light through the theme of outdoor landscapes; learn the use of brushwork in figure painting through sketching portraits, and gradually develop their own oil painting creation path. The end-of-term results are the completion of four-figure works and four landscape works.
