Abstract/Objectives

According to statistics, the number of trees in the campus is about 11,000, and the green coverage area is about 40 hectares or more. Therefore, the daily campus tree pruning and maintenance operations, the handling of typhoon seasons or emergencies, and the transplanting and removal of trees are performed every year. Will produce a certain amount of waste wood.

Results/Contributions

In response to the teaching and learning needs of Tsing hua Residential College, NTHU will provide waste wood produced on campus. Through wood sorting, the wood can be processed into items such as home decorations, furniture, and wood products. In 2025, a total of approximately 1.396 tons of waste wood from the campus will be provided.
