Abstract/Objectives
Urban farms can not only supply urban agricultural and livestock products, but also provide green space for everyone. It applies the concept of recycling agriculture to waste treatment. It can also act as a decomposer, as a solution to the huge urban waste. Re-convert the waste that was originally recognized by the city into reusable resources, promote the revolving cycle of the resource recycling system, manage waste and reduce harmful substances in the city. Urban farms are also exporters of environmental knowledge and promote sustainable development education to cities. It shows the positive connection between urban farms and urban and rural areas, builds a bridge between urban development and environmental preservation, and allows people to be one step closer to the establishment of a sustainable city.
