In recent years, the global space industry has rapidly expanded, with advancements in rocket reusability, CubeSats, low Earth orbit satellite communication, and short-term space travel. The future of space holds immense potential.
The National Space Organization (NSPO) is Taiwan’s dedicated space development agency. As of January 2023, it has transformed into an independent administrative research institution. With the name change to TASA (Taiwan Space Agency), its resources—personnel, facilities, and equipment—will grow, strengthening Taiwan’s space technology capabilities. TASA is now tasked with leading Taiwan’s future space technology and industry development.
This lecture outlines Taiwan’s space journey and looks ahead to the challenges, exploring how we can work together to realize Taiwan’s space dream.
